1. Acceptance

These terms apply when you download or use FYWay. Stop using the app if you do not agree with them. Apple’s standard terms and App Store rules also apply to your download and use of the app.

2. Purpose of FYWay

FYWay helps you explore landmarks and useful places within an estimated walking time. The app provides map, route and direction information for general orientation. FYWay is not an emergency service, a safety system or a substitute for official signs and instructions.

3. Safe use

Stay aware of traffic, terrain, closures, weather and your surroundings. Follow local laws, official signs and access restrictions. Do not hold or operate the app in a way that distracts you while crossing roads or moving through unsafe areas.

Walking times, routes, arrows and experimental augmented-reality placement are estimates. Sensor accuracy, map coverage, network access and changing surroundings affect results. Confirm directions before acting on them.

4. Maps and third-party content

FYWay uses Apple MapKit, OpenStreetMap, Overpass, Wikidata and Wikipedia. Their information may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Third-party terms, attribution and privacy policies apply to their services and content.

5. Licence

You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use FYWay on Apple devices linked to your App Store account. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, remove notices or use the app in breach of applicable law.

6. Availability and changes

Features depend on your device, iOS, permissions, network access and third-party services. The developer may update, change or discontinue features. Continuous availability is not guaranteed.

7. Responsibility

Use FYWay at your own judgment and risk. To the extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for loss caused by inaccurate routes, place data, service interruptions, unsafe use or reliance on estimated directions. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

This page will show a new effective date when the terms change. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date.
