1. Publisher and scope
Equilibriumpress publishes Azores Travel Guide. These terms cover its website, web guide and iPhone and iPad app. Contact equilibrium.publisher@gmail.com for service or purchase support.
2. Travel information
The guide provides editorial information, island guides, places, maps and self-guided walks. Check current weather, access, transport and opening information before travelling. The guide does not provide emergency assistance or professional navigation.
3. Trails, maps and distances
Route geometry, difficulty, duration and access change with weather, maintenance and closures. Follow current signs and official instructions. Official Azores Trails information takes precedence over editorial route summaries.
Maps and route previews contain estimates and require attention to actual conditions. Distances from your location are straight-line estimates, not walking-route distances. Choose routes appropriate to current conditions and your abilities, and respect access restrictions.
4. Information and service updates
Equilibriumpress maintains the guide, but editorial descriptions do not replace current notices from operators and authorities. Content and links change as information is revised. Online maps, photos and refreshed content require network access and depend on external service availability. These qualifications do not limit your statutory rights when paid content or services fail to conform to the purchase agreement.
5. Complete Azores purchase
The native app includes the Azores regional guide and São Miguel without an in-app purchase. Complete Azores is a one-time, non-consumable purchase providing access to the other island guides offered in the app. There is no recurring subscription. Check the price and included content shown before confirming the purchase.
Apple processes payment through your Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account used for the purchase. The purchase is not conditional on location permission. These terms do not promise a fixed schedule of new editorial material or additional future products. Changes must respect your purchase agreement and mandatory consumer rights.
6. App licence and Apple services
The app licence is governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, unless a custom licence is provided on the App Store product page. Apple's terms also govern Apple payment and App Store services. These website terms do not replace the applicable app licence or mandatory law.
7. Support, refunds and consumer rights
Contact equilibrium.publisher@gmail.com if purchased access does not work or content fails to match the purchase description. Include the issue and relevant device or app version. Do not send payment-card details.
For an Apple-billed purchase, submit a refund request through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple assesses requests under its terms and applicable law. This route does not remove your statutory rights, including applicable remedies for faulty or non-conforming digital content. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory liability or consumer protections.
8. External services and media rights
Linked maps, tourism sources, venues and transport services have their own terms. Original editorial text, selection and presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party photographs and maps retain their respective licences and attribution requirements. A link or credit does not transfer ownership of that material.
9. Acceptable use
Use the guide for personal travel planning. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access or republish substantial editorial material where prohibited by law. This restriction does not override rights granted by law or by an applicable open licence.
