Privacy Policy

1. Operator

Campervan Routes Europa is published by Equilibrium Apps. Privacy questions can be sent to equilibrium.publisher@gmail.com.

2. Information stored on your device

The app may store favourites, interface preferences, language and appearance choices, and cached route, stop, campsite and image data locally on your device. This information is used to provide the app experience and improve loading performance.

3. Route, stop and campsite content

Published route, stop and campsite content is retrieved directly by the app from the Notion API. Requests contain the information required to fetch the content together with normal network metadata such as IP address and device/network headers. Campervan Routes Europa does not send your favourites or a user profile to Notion.

4. Weather

When current weather is shown for a stop, the app may send that stop's geographic coordinates to Open-Meteo. These coordinates describe the selected route location and are used only to request the weather information needed for the feature.

5. Maps and directions

The app uses Apple MapKit to display maps and route context. If you choose to navigate, the app opens Apple Maps with the selected destination. Apple processes map, search and navigation requests under Apple's own privacy terms.

6. Images and external network requests

Route, stop or campsite images may be loaded from external image hosts referenced by the route content. Those hosts can receive normal network information needed to deliver the requested image. Campervan Routes Europa does not use those requests for advertising or tracking.

7. Information we do not collect for our own use

• No Campervan Routes Europa account or login.
• No advertising identifier or advertising profile.
• No third-party analytics or cross-app tracking SDK is required by the native app experience.
• No contacts, health data, microphone recordings or photo-library uploads are required for the routebook features.

8. Retention and deletion

Local favourites, preferences and cached data remain on your device until removed through the app where available, replaced by newer cache data, cleared by iOS, or removed when the app is deleted. Because the app does not maintain a proprietary account database, there is no Campervan Routes Europa server-side account to delete.

9. Your choices

You can remove favourites, clear cached data from the app settings where available, change app preferences, or delete the app to remove its local app data. You may also contact us regarding privacy rights that apply to you under applicable law.

10. External services

Notion, Open-Meteo, Apple and external image providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We use these services only to provide app functionality and do not authorize their use for advertising on behalf of Campervan Routes Europa.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated when the app's features, data sources or legal obligations change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
